Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, QJHA teams were unable to make it to the Pro Am Chowder Cup in the summer of 2020 and 2021 due to the very strict measures. Having lost 1 year in not being able to demonstrate to the American teams what our Quebec players had to show, we were not going to lose a second year. This is the reason why in 2021, we set up our own Advancement Camp, which took place in mid-July.

A total of 67 players joined our camp to showcase in front of team owners, coaches and general managers, live streamed. With the rules in place, we weren't able to accommodate people in the rink therefore, we broadcasted our games online.

In total, 50 teams were present on our broadcast during the weekend. In our 1st year, it's a huge success. Other than the games, the players were able to enjoy lunch, dinner, Gatorades, unlimited snacks and attend a hockey conference on academic advancement + hockey.

It is definitely a meeting in 2022!
